These Softube Kits are designed to fit the Astera Helios and Titan tubes, and give the user the option to create a soft source by adding a diffused surrounding.
 
The kit contains two end caps and enough Hook n Loop for one diffusion. Just add your diffusion of choice (we think a 400 or Magic Cloth works well).
 
The end caps are screwed to the tubes using the eyebolts found in the Astera kit, and a 3/8-16 UNC thread in the centre of the end cap means it can be rigged using a spigot, either horizontally by fixing both ends, or hanging vertically, using just one end.
 
Vents on each end cap help to keep the tubes from over heating, by aiding air flow when fully enclosed in diffusion.
 
Each end cap also has a charging lead entry point that is blocked when not in use.
 
When not in use, the end caps are held neatly together with the aid of strong magnets.
